Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on the 28th of October 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also the first Roberts to move to Atlanta. At an early age, her father became interested in theater. He acted on the Emory University campus in 1952 and also in other productions throughout Atlanta. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he was part of a military unit in the play of Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple married and, in 1956, their son Eric Anthony was born. In 1957 the couple left the air force and Walter was enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. In 1960 the family moved into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou produced a Saturday early morning television program specifically for children known as Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. They also earned a salary. They created an Actors and Writers Workshop in the year 1964, and it was in operation for six years. They welcomed in 1965 two new children: Lelisa Billingsley as well as Julia Billingsley.
