Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress who has been praised for her roles as lead actress on a number of TV shows, and also for her powerful performances in movies. The actress is well-known on Canadian and American television. Emily's love for acting first began in the year 12 she visited her sister Katie who was making a film with Katie. She started taking classes in acting and auditions when she realized that she had a passion for acting. After a few successful commercials she was soon cast in the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You scared to be in the Dark? In the show, she appeared in just one scene without any dialog. The actress got her first big break at the age of fifteen when she was spotted as a regular in the WB program Glory Days. Emily's character caught Greg Berlanti's eye, even though the show came to an end in just nine short episode. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular character on Everwood. Emily was an accomplished ballet dancer, as well as a photographer. Teen once named her as one of the top actresses below the age of twenty. Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her as number 51.
